Please read these terms before ordering
These terms apply to products and related services supplied by Equipment Bazaar, a trading name of CEFS Plastic Limited (Company No: 08056067). They form part of the contract between us and the customer together with the accepted quotation, order confirmation and any product-specific conditions shown before purchase.
Business-to-business sales only
Equipment Bazaar supplies commercial catering equipment, appliances, accessories and related services only to customers acting wholly or mainly for purposes connected with their trade, business, craft or profession.
Every accepted sale is intended to be a business-to-business contract. By placing an order, you confirm that the purchase is for business or professional use and that you have authority to bind the named business. If you are buying personally for purposes outside a trade or business, please do not place an order and contact our team instead.
A contract label cannot override mandatory law. If a purchaser is legally determined to be a consumer despite this business-only policy, any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded will still apply.
If an accepted quotation or order confirmation contains a specific term that conflicts with this page, the specific written term will apply to that order, except where the law does not allow it.
Product information
You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase any knife from our website. By placing an order that includes a knife, you confirm that you are at least 18. We may request valid proof of age before accepting or dispatching the order and may refuse or cancel the knife purchase if satisfactory proof of age is not provided.
We take reasonable care to keep product descriptions, dimensions, specifications and images accurate. Images are illustrative and colours or minor details may vary. Manufacturers may update a specification without notice where the change does not materially reduce the product’s function or quality.
You are responsible for checking the dimensions, utilities, capacity and intended use before ordering. Please ask our team if compatibility or site suitability is important to your decision.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Where a price is marked “ex VAT”, VAT is added at the applicable rate. The delivery charge and final total are confirmed before the order is accepted.
Prices and promotions may change before an order is accepted. If a listing contains an obvious pricing or description error, we may correct it and ask whether you wish to proceed, or cancel the affected item and refund any payment received for it.
Bank transfer is currently the available payment method. Card payments, digital wallets and Klarna are not yet available. A 2% bank-transfer discount applies to the equipment subtotal before VAT. Delivery and other charges are excluded. The bank-transfer discount cannot be combined with a coupon code; where a coupon is applied, its discount replaces the bank-transfer discount. Bank transfer orders remain unpaid and pending until cleared funds are received. You must send the exact checkout total, use the generated order number as the payment reference and cover any sender or intermediary bank fees.
Payment must be made using an accepted method and may be subject to security or verification checks.
Orders and availability
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed when we send written acceptance or dispatch the goods, whichever happens first. An automated acknowledgement only confirms that we received your request.
All orders are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable, we will contact you about an alternative, revised lead time or refund. We may supply an order in separate deliveries where practical and will explain any material effect on delivery charges.
Delivery
Free standard UK mainland delivery applies when qualifying standard-parcel goods total over £250 excluding VAT, before bank-transfer or coupon discounts. Overweight items are excluded from this offer. Large parcels, pallets and oversized equipment also remain subject to delivery charges. Highlands surcharges and quote-only destinations still apply.
The applicable delivery service and charge are shown at checkout. Please read our Delivery Information page for the rates, eligible equipment, delivery areas and conditions.
Standard rates apply to eligible UK mainland deliveries. Scottish Highlands surcharges apply; Northern Ireland, offshore islands and other destinations require a quote. Please contact us before ordering where a quote is needed.
Delivery dates and lead times are estimates unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date in writing. They may change because of stock, manufacturer or carrier delays, customs, weather, access restrictions or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
All deliveries are carried out by independent third-party delivery companies and are kerbside only. Drivers do not unpack, position, install, connect or move equipment inside the premises. Equipment Bazaar and its delivery companies do not collect, remove or dispose of old or existing equipment. You are responsible for moving the goods safely from the kerbside delivery point.
Do not book installers or dispose of existing equipment until the new goods have arrived and been checked.
Access, inspection and transit damage
You must tell us before dispatch about restricted access, steps, weight limits, pedestrian zones or other conditions that could affect delivery. You are responsible for checking that the product will fit through doors, corridors and into its intended position. If a delivery fails because nobody is available or access information was incorrect, any redelivery or return charge will be confirmed before further transport is arranged.
You must check the product, the number of packages and the outer packaging for visible damage before signing the delivery note. Record missing items or visible damage clearly with the carrier, take photographs, retain all packaging and contact us promptly. If a full inspection is not reasonably possible, sign as “unchecked” where the carrier permits and inspect immediately afterwards. Signing a delivery note does not remove any statutory rights.
Risk of loss or damage remains with us until the goods are delivered to you or a person you nominate, except where the law provides otherwise or a business customer arranges its own carrier.
Cancellations and returns
Business cancellation and return charges apply where included in the terms accepted for your order. All cancellation instructions must be given in writing. For a business order cancelled within the first hour after payment, a 5% cancellation charge applies; after the first hour, the charge is 25%. A later cancellation also carries the applicable two-way courier cost.
Business customers do not have an automatic change-of-mind return right. Any discretionary commercial return requires our prior written authorisation and the goods must normally be unused, uninstalled, complete and in their original packaging. A 25% restocking charge applies, with an additional £120 plus VAT administration charge for pallet-delivered items.
Do not send goods back until return arrangements and the correct external warehouse address have been confirmed. Nothing in this section limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. See our Returns & Refunds page for the full process, transport charges and timescales.
Faulty goods and warranty
If commercial equipment is faulty, misdescribed or does not conform to the accepted order, contact us promptly with the order number, serial number and supporting photographs or video. The available remedy depends on the accepted sale terms, applicable law, the product’s age and the nature of the fault.
Warranty duration, parts cover, labour cover and service arrangements depend on the manufacturer, model and accepted sale terms. The evidence needed for a claim and the support process are explained on our Warranty Service page.
Depending on the applicable warranty terms, exclusions may include normal wear, consumables, misuse, accidental damage, unsuitable site conditions, lack of maintenance or incorrect installation. Please stop using unsafe equipment and contact us promptly.
Installation and safe use
Unless installation is expressly included, you are responsible for safe positioning, connection and commissioning. Gas, electrical, water, drainage and refrigeration work must be completed by suitably qualified professionals and comply with the manufacturer’s instructions and all applicable regulations.
You must provide suitable services, ventilation and clearances and ensure that users are trained. Damage or failure caused by incorrect installation, inadequate utilities, misuse or failure to maintain the product may not be covered by warranty.
Liability and events outside our control
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or a statutory right where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
For business customers, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts or anticipated savings arising from a delay or breach. Customers should not commit to installation or service interruption until delivery and inspection are complete.
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect, keep you informed and perform the contract when reasonably possible.
Website use and intellectual property
The website and its content are provided for general information and shopping. You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access or introduce harmful material.
Text, graphics, branding, layout and other site content belong to Equipment Bazaar or their respective owners and may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission. Product and manufacturer names remain the property of their owners.
Personal data
We use personal information to process orders, arrange delivery, provide support, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. Any marketing communication will include an option to unsubscribe. Contact us if you have a question about how your information is handled.
Governing law and disputes
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any complaint. These terms and contracts made under them are governed by the law of Northern Ireland. The courts of Northern Ireland have jurisdiction where the law permits.
If a purchaser is legally determined to be a consumer despite our business-only sales policy, that purchaser retains any mandatory consumer protection and jurisdiction rights that apply.
Changes and severability
We may update these terms for future orders. The version in force when your order is accepted will apply to that contract. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
