What this website currently uses

The Equipment Bazaar site uses browser local storage to remember your basket, selected product options and visitor favourites. This information stays in your browser so those choices remain available when you return on the same device.

If you use My Account, Equipment Bazaar sets one essential, secure session cookie to keep you signed in. It is protected from browser scripts, is sent only over HTTPS and expires after 14 days or when you sign out. Your device favourites are automatically added to your account when you sign in. Favourites saved while signed in are held with your account and can be removed from My Account. These technologies are not used for advertising.

We do not currently add analytics, behavioural advertising or social-media tracking cookies to the site. If we introduce non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and provide an appropriate choice before they are set.

Browser storage used by Equipment Bazaar

The basket, price, option and visitor-favourite entries are functional local storage rather than cookies. These entries do not identify you by name. Device favourites are automatically saved to My Account when you sign in; the local favourites queue is cleared after they have been saved.

Essential hosting and security technology

Our website platform, content delivery network or security provider may use short-lived cookies or similar technical information where necessary to deliver pages, balance traffic, prevent abuse, maintain security or diagnose faults.

Strictly necessary technologies do not require consent where they are essential to provide a service you requested. Their names and duration may vary as the security and hosting service changes.

How to control or delete storage

Clearing site data for Equipment Bazaar will remove the basket and device favourites from that browser, but it will not remove favourites already saved to your account. Account favourites can be removed from My Account or from the relevant product page.

Browser menus vary, but controls are commonly found under Privacy, Security, Cookies or Site Data. Private browsing can reduce storage after a session, although it does not make browsing anonymous to websites or network providers.

Third-party content and links

Some product images are delivered from supplier or manufacturer websites, so your browser may contact those providers to retrieve the image. External links take you to services that set their own cookies or use their own storage. Equipment Bazaar does not control those services, and their own cookie and privacy information applies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page if the website’s storage, providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest update. Where a change requires consent, the relevant technology will not be enabled until an appropriate choice has been provided.
